After listinging to one of Chris's podcast on David and Golaith. Which was awesome inspiring. check it!
these thoughts were impressed upon me. Felt compelled to write something, that something turned into more and eventually a blog,lol. Okay here it is:
"Whatever God has Called you too, chase after it, run it down,haha!"
Just think if David(aka King David of Israel Gave up???) When his brothers told him to leave. I'm sure some of the men in the army were laughing at him as well(thats my assumption), and even the King,King Saul said "Don be Ridiculous." "Theres no way you can fight this Philistine and possibly win!......." (1 Samuel 17)
David didn't run away but Ran to/Embraced his calling God gave him. He was enriched with boldness because He knew who he was. But more Important he knew who his God was!
He remembered the prophet Samuel (which by the way was a miraculous gift from God,aka his mom Hannah was barren, but she cried out to God and God heard her cry and opened up her womb.(by the way thats the new single that will be coming out that I will have recorded here with-in the year, called "Open up". (AKA AWESOMENESS) Doesn't that get your blood going, get you pumped up about who we serve...!!! A Mighty God Indeed! So.. He David rememberred the prochicies Samuel spoke over him that he would be the next King of Israel, that God had Chosen him!( what has God chosen you to?) David held onto the promises of God! He didn't let them Go! He recalled the times God protected him when looking after the sheep. Do you remember what happen? Ha, Crazy yo,lol!
Whenever a bear, lion....or anything that would harm the sheep, David would go after that threat! Whoa,just wait there a minute. Would you go after a bear, haha or the king of the jungle (no not Simba lol) David did!
Saw this photo, thought it was funny! These bears aint no friendly bears like "Hey boo boo.." ( for you younger readers thats a reference to "Yogi the bear" by the way lol)

If the animal turns on me, I catch it by the Jaw (whoa what? I be fraid of loosing fingers, limbs....makes me cry to think of that lol.) so he would catch it by the jaw and then...club it to death. (haha David crazy yo!)
David said to Saul " Ive done this to both Lions and Bears and Ill do this to this pagan philistine,too for he has defied the armies of the living God!"
David took down not just a bear, not just a lion but more than one. ("Lion's/Bear's)
You will have to take down some lions, some bears in your life. But get this David knew God was with him(vs37). God will be with you as well. For He has said " I will never leave you nor forsake you."
Im still blown away by David catching a lion by its jaw,lol. Thats a big jaw, and fiercely strong. Not only that but a lion or bear possible on you, they aint light yo!
When you are in your design/or going into it of what God has called/destined you too, enemies will arise and will try to take you out whatever that looks like in your life. I know for me personally I face enemies of ;
1. Depression 2. Listening to Lies ( however these forms may take...through people, work,...unseen world..etc)
Recognizing your enemies tactics is key and not stop there. Stand Up and Fight! There is a "David" in all of us!
Check out verse 45 and on...
"You come to me with spear and javelin BUT I come to you in the NAME OF THE LORD OF HEAVENS ARMIES....whom you have defied! Today the LORD WILL Conquer You........This is the LORDS BATTLE, and He will give you to us.
Be Fierce, be bold in your calling! Full of Confidence! God has your back, for He has created and designed you specifically for that! Proclaim/Declare/Remember Just as David did. Remember who is Fighting for you? As David said This is the LORDS BATTLE! "Whom shall I fear"-by Chris Tomlin is an awesome song! (Check it)
So whatever is coming at your way, fastballs, curveballs,"GIANTS",know this GOD IS HERE! GOD WILL WORK OUT HIS PLANS FOR YOU! Do you trust Him,to do so? As Jesus said - "Anything is possible if a person believes"
I know for me personally at times I get sidetracked and tend to look at other places/things for my help! Get this God has resources! haha for real, doesn't He? For God has said-" I own a thousand cattle on a hill", " The Whole Earth is mine and everything in it." Ha, God has unlimited resources that never run dry! He made Heaven that is filled with great wonders, far above what we could ever imagine. Heaven is Glorious, with Gems, Gold, Mansions, Aka Jesus the Greatest Treasure ever to be known. So will God not supply all that you need and more? Will He not rain down manna, gold,diamons,whatever you need to fulfill your destiny? Check this story about Abraham, he messed up one time. When his wife Sarah told him to go be with Hagar to have a son. They tried to fulfill Gods plan on their own, and their way. Even when God had told them you will have a son. They doubted too. But get this God still came and provided because His plan will succeed. Do you believe yet? haha. Be encourage if you get sidetracked like I have many times God will Come through and help you, re-direct you. BUT be bold, believe in God,in what He has for you! When you feel like your going into doubts,dont entertain them. Throw them out, get rid of them "set them on fire",throw them into the sea" Have "Confidence" in The Who made you! When you trust/believe in God in what He has for you, doubts will fade away, you will have no room for that. " Just laugh at them (doubts) in the face" Cause you are confident with out wavering that God will come through. That was Davids heart !
Remember the Prophices God has spoken over you. Remember Gods Providence. Remember Gods Protection. Remember Gods Strength He has given to you. Remember the dreams/visons. Recall....Recall!
Satan will try to pull you away from what God has for you! Yes he is real, come on lets be real.
BUT get this......
Who is inside you? Is it not the Holy Spirit? " Greater is He who is in me...than who is in the world." "God has not given you a Spirit of Fear...NO! But of POWER...LOVE...SELF DISCIPLINE."
Hmmm... thats interesting God has given us a Spirit of Boldness. So if there is fear in your life check it, check it where it is coming from? My guess is that fear comes from enemies, cause they scared of what you can do and accomplish when you are in your "Idenity" of Boldness Power. Thats Right, the Holy Spirit aint Scared of anything. ha He is the Living God dwelling in you, filling you with HOPE,STRENGTH,COURAGE,FAITH.....etc
Thanks 4 checking out this blog. Hope it has been uplifting/encouraging. I know writing this, I have been encourage to be more bold in pursuit of Gods call over my life. I leave you with this encouragement :
